The Neurosciences and Music – IV: Learning and Memory

The Neurosciences and Music – IV: Learning and Memory, was held in Edinburgh (Scotland, UK) from 9th to 12th June 2011. The Danish research group: Music in the Brain, were strongly represented at the conference with 8 researchers in total. The central theme here is Learning and Memory, which again was divided into 4 subthemes: “Infants and Children”, “Adults: musicians and non musicians”, “Disabilities and aging-related issues” and “Therapy and “Rehabilitation”. The conference included 9 Symposia, 3 Poster Sessions, 2 Workshops and Keynote Lectures. Peter Vuust was invited as speaker at the confrence and his research group contributed with various posters from their latest studies. The full programme can be found here.
